FM Attack - New World

Review from OTSO @ 12. February 2020

Definitely no “Deja Vu” to the previous albums – wonderful to see when artists are not afraid to develop further.

The album is quite diverse and yet homogeneous: From Dreamwave tracks (“Dark Blue Sky”) via Daft Punk (“Let You Go”) to tracks of Gothic “Rock” and 80s/90s Darkwave, Sisters of Mercy (“New World”) and Cure (“Believe”). In “Believe” Blake Voss apparently borrowed Smith’s vocal chords. The highlight is “Shadows” with a nostalgic combination of 90s darkwave and synthwave.
